Indoor petting Zoo
At the beginning of March some friends gave us some really hard to come by (sarcasm) free children's tickets to an Indoor Petting Zoo/Fair. Since it was cold and dreary out we packed in the car and met some of our good friends at what was one of the strangest, funniest north shore cultural experiences I've been to. A big convention center filled with really strange (and kind of sad) animals.....there were huge one horned cows there, talking parrots, alligators, monkeys, horses, llamas, weird horned goats and sheep, woolly mammoths (kidding) and even some elephants (not kidding). It was packed with working class families all trying to get their kids to look at the animals instead of beg to ride the dingy fair rides and eat more cotton candy. We loved it, and the kids did too.
