We took your advice Jenny and haven't let a rain storm go by without going out and playing in the pouring goodness. (Ok, that’s kind of an exaggeration, we’ve done it twice….and it’s rained a lot more than that this summer.) It sure makes those hot humid rainy days more fun. 
Stomping in puddles and running in the rain is one of the things I always envisioned myself doing when I’d think of the wonderful mom I was going to be. Sadly, I’m not nearly as adventurous and fun as the mom I envisioned. I’m working on it though. And whenever I practice being that mom we’re all delighted. 
I loved how determined Hazel was to really stomp it all out. A great way to get out some of that pent up Hazel frustration. 
So get out there. Live it up. You’ll be glad you did.
