I've had this in my drafts ready to go for a while.  Wanted to document Charlie's big first purchase.  He saved up $12 to buy this awesome flapping robot bird guy that is remote controlled.  I have to say, it's a pretty good first purchase.  It has been flown and flown and flown by anyone who comes in the house and it just keeps flapping.  Also, I love the name.....Flappy.

It's pretty great seeing your kids save up for something.  Now if I can get Hazel to save up for something more than a bag of candy!
