to be honest, I wasn’t looking forward to getting up bright and early and heading to the beach for this photo session…..but as I drove closer and closer to the beach (and woke up a little) I started to feel that thrill of being awake before everyone, of seeing beautiful things that everyone is sleepily missing.
And then I arrived and met J and his mom Z, I feel in love with the morning. These two both have peaceful souls, perfectly matched by the morning beach light, the shafts of early sun, the pristine sand, the quiet rhythm of the waves. 
I loved the simplicity of capturing this beautiful mom/baby interaction. I need to find someone to do this for me (though I don’t think I’d come out looking so at peace….).
